Alternate names, keywords, tags, not sure what to call it+issues

What I'd like to be able to do is assign a term to a card that the search engine will consider another name for the card. So, if I'd like "alpha twins" and "transformer twins" to be search terms that will result in The Twins card being the top result, I can just tag The Twins card somehow with alternate terms that I know people will be likely to use.

Can I do that?

Right now you cannot. One workaround is to create a card "alpha twins" and simply include {{The Twins}} in it, but of course if people try to edit it via the gear menu they will be confused (double-clicking would work as expected. We have of course run into this issue before, see implement aliasing.

Yeah, that sounds like what I'm talking about. There wouldn't be any "content" for people to be able to edit. It's just a way to improve search results by identifying known alternatives. Good search results is a big concern of mine. :)
