The transportation card makes me wonder why all the selfish people out there don't realize that frequently, the selfless thing can be the most rewarding (and not just in sappy ways!).  I mean, if you have to rape the world to be an industrial kingpin, fine, but what is the point?  What kingpin wants to drive their bentley around in some bombed-out ghetto?  They could still be a badass kingpin if they took a bit of their wealth to ensure their community is thriving.  Its not like the kingpins out there will go to the poorhouse by investing a bit into society!  Maybe they are just afraid, as historically their contributions would have been squandered by poor government management.  However, we are in a new era and it is not unreasonable to expect that our civilization gets better over time.  If our taxes are wasted, we must do something about it!  We must solve the problem, not just recognize it and hide.
