As a reader/editor, it is hard to know when discussions on a card are active. As a wagneer, I would like some view options (maybe a show/hide feature) to show when there is an active discussion attached to a card.

I can see several good designs for this. Some visual change or bug added to the gear icon. Maybe change the icon from solid to outline, give it a color shade, etc. A separate 'bug' neer the gear icon could be clicked on the access the discission.
Another solution would be something added to the bottom of the card's rendering, like a small status bar that could have some activity information and/or navigation controls. It could just be a closed header for the discussion plus card.
