for example, create cardtype 'Session' and try to create a new card of that type: Boom!

Session and import are fine now. Not sure what the issue ever was with assess. Are there other Ruby modules i can/should test, or shall we call this a wrap? --John

let's call it a wrap :) I think Lew implemented a general solution, so if these are working, I'm confident it's all good.
