we have several config cards that functionally point to other cards (eg, *home), and we still don't have a good design mechanism to implement aliasing.
A mid-term solution might be redirect cards that can handle a card name or other address. This card might render as an inclusion in a list, but by itself it would redirect to the other card or url.
There has been talk of making this work with cards that have just an inclusion on them or using special syntax. I've been leaning towards a cardtype. needs design.
