If I make the rule MyType+*type+*default a Pointer card, then I expect that MyType will behave like a Pointer card and it will a) Give me a new Pointer editor when I click on add a new MyType card.
I also expect it to offer the Pointer rules for MyType+*type related views.
I think there's an idea card for this already, no? (closing, because I don't think there's a support request here).

Do we? If not we could change the type of this one. I would have thought we would have done this by now. It may have some hazards to implement.

Seems like a bad thing that history shows the link name change as an edit. Should be able to show it was an update_references change.
