To avoid muddying up card histories, it's nice to have a preview option next to Save or Create buttons. Should be fairly straightforward except in the case of multi-edit. Thoughts?

A particularly cool example out there is Jottit, which offers live preview!

Preview is even more important when doing something like submitting forms that the user doesn't have permissions to view -- in this case there is no way for the user to see what the posting is going to look like.  I've found it a problem when submitting tickets.

+1 - I'd love to have a preview option!

+1 - A preview option also makes versioning more simple when we write content. What's the point of saving a version just to visualize the result? I like to save my writing each time it has reached a new level. So thumbs up for preview!!!

Ethan from elsewhere: "The challenge with previews is that rendering involves a bunch of cache lookups (especially of plus cards), and those cards aren't in the db or the cache yet. I think the solution is to make it so that we temporarily populate the local cache, but this will involve some design and is not yet ready to act upon."
