Idea

what i want to see:

• notes grouped by +date (ala recent changes)
• notes ordered/grouped by closed date.  
  (can approximate by updated_at on +status  (filtered by status=closed.   assume the last change was to closed))
  but this is still hard to do.

flagging the feeling:  we're not gonna be able to do velocity tracking as well as a regular system. calculations lets us do some crude approximations.  but you have to be able to define time intervals, software has to know what a week/cycle is, etc.
