The image issue appears to be a genuine bug. We've just done some major upgrades to our image handling, and it looks like something in our Cloudstore package is broken. We'll try to get that code fixed this weekend, and Cloudstore will run the updates on Tuesday night.
I think the issue is probably with handling "non-root" sites, meaning that your site is breaking because it's under "/wagn/". You can change that on Cloudstore, or, as I say, just wait until the next update.
The Search issue is that to use CQL you need a separate Search card. To have a search in the middle of the content, as you want, you just need to nest a search card in there.
For example, you can have a nest (or nesting) like {{+links to me}} in the content of the card. That nested card should have the type "Search", and its content should be the WQL you're using.
Actually, there's already a virtual card that you can use: http://symptomac.net.294.cldstr.com/wagn/Home+*linked_to_by
So if you add {{+*linked to me}} in the content, you'll have your search.
A fix is coming in 1.16.3. You'll be able to see when your deck has been updated at http://symptomac.net.294.cldstr.com/wagn/*version
If you still have icon issues, you may need to regenerate your css by going to http://symptomac.net.294.cldstr.com/wagn/delete/*all+*style+*machine_output
Please let me know if you still have any problems at that point!
thanks for the help. I'm slowly getting a handle on the syntax, but slowly...
if found that the following can be added to a card to create the list of cards linking to it. There might be a simpler way, but this does exactly what i was looking for (a quick list of links that can also be opened to view contents of cards)
{{_self+*linked_to_by | view:closed}}
what i would love to do is have a cardtype (or even change the basic cardtype) to have this at the bottom of every card
Currently i am putting it as a default rule of my new cardtype so it shows up in all new cards
Is there a way to have it automatically at the bottom of every card? I think structure rule can do this, but when i change it, i seem to lose the ability to edit content
Yes, the structure rule is one way. In concept, the structure rule actually overrides the card's content with patterned content; that's why you can't directly edit the content any more; the structure IS the content.
But there are plenty of other approaches. Forgive the poor names, but you could do something like:
structure rule for "BodyAndLinkList" cards
{{+body}}
{{+linklist}}
With that approach, you would be putting the "content" in the +body card.
But if you really want the link list for *every* card, you might choose to put the list in the layout. Eg, in the *sidebar card you could add "{{_main+*linked_to_by}}".
How would that suit you?
You might also be interested in the Layout feature. I think the Setting is *layout, so editing *all+*layout allows you to change what is on every page. You'll see that the standard layouts often have another card for the standard sidebar, and so you can add "on every page" stuff there too.
Ethan will correct this if it is disinformation. In the context of a layout, the "current card" is _main. I think _self would be the layout card itself.
