I've had to create Search cards solely to handle such situations.
When including Search cards, make syntax such as
Un URLs, make syntax like http://www.wagn.org/Ticket+*type?limit=1000
(same for sort, dir)
make sort & limit specifiable in inclusion and URL syntax+discussed in support tickets
make sort & limit specifiable in inclusion and URL syntax+relevant user stories
