I don't know if these are related, but once i hit more than one weirdness i decided to start tracking them:

http://test.dwagn.org/recent and http://en.dwagn.org/recent etc. show "*recent changes" in the browser window title bar (rather than Recently Changed Cards, as with http://www.wagn.org/recent etc.)
Also on recent for test etc., only 20 cards are shown, rather than 50 on other Wagns.
Go to http://test.dwagn.org/pick_a_card and set the type to Pointer. Then type a character into the Pointer and you get:

Do what?
Couldn't find Card::Base with ID=pick_a_card
404 Not Found

I think these are all fixed, but I'll let you test them. If you can establish, as you did with these, that something is introduced by changes within a release, then it would be great to link to the support ticket from the release discussion (or, if it's short, just post it there).
