Oddly, the name of the card in the enclosing-card-interface changes to "Funding" and I can even click on the goto arrow after it and have it take me to a card to create Funding.
yeah, I think the interface gets a little bit ahead of itself there.

the issue is with the plus cards. there is a funding+*self card that clashes with the +*self card in the cascading renames.
I will convert this to a ticket. workaround:
re-create the "funding" card from scratch and add a *self rule for it. then rename "funding" to "old funding", and re-delete.

Hmm, didn't work for me. I think I did the work-around right.
see airbrake. the plus card causing you problems is *account (not *self). this pattern can be triggered by any given plus card.
