Can I make a pointer card list its contents in alpha order? I made a Pointer card called Appears In, so that I can use it in inclusions in the structure of some of my cardtypes. So when I include it and also tell it to be titled and links, people are offered a box that will autofill once they start typing in the title of an episode, and when they save it, I get a list of links to the episodes at the bottom of the card. But if you miss one, then you have to go back and move all them around.
Is there some place in either the Appears In card itself or the inclusion syntax that I can specify that the list should be alphabetized?
We don't have anything for auto reordering, though that would be a cool mod. You can, however, do a search for the pointees and sort them dynamically.
I assume you've noticed that you can drag and drop pointer items?
Uhm. I haven't actually. Does the pointer change in Chrome to indicate that you can do that? It doesn't in Opera, which is probably why I didn't think it was possible, although it will let me if I click and drag on either side of the X. Anyway, that means I don't have to worry as much.
I'd rather not make a zillion searches for everything since there's no way for me to hide those cards from people. I'm already trying to name them things that are obtuse and meaningless so they don't show up in searches. Also, I'm not sure what I'd search, since the idea is that people are manually creating the list. Although about making them searches of pages that link to the card in question, but it's possible to talk about a character without them actually appearing, and the list is supposed to be times that they appear.
