The inclusion instructs it to have a 'checkbox' view,
Status: { {+my status|checkbox} }
But when I click on the 'Add +my status' link, it gives a normal list editor.
It works once the card is created.

Now, I'm not sure what is supposed to happen. The checkbox view is active in the regular view, not edit, but you can check and un-check the boxes. This doesn't update anything, but it is really broke as a UI.

Ok, I was mistaken. It is interesting that it shows the checkboxes, but you can't update them (no way to submit). When I put the setting in a +*input rule it worked. I think it still is a minor bug that you can edit the checkboxes.

yeah, "checkbox" is not a view.

I don't know what you mean "can edit the checkboxes"

this issue is resolved in that broken / nonexistent views are now identified and not rendered.
