Hi!

I'm a computer science student, now trying to contribute to friendly AI research (see http://intelligence.org). A few days ago I read Bret Victors article (http://worrydream.com/ClimateChange/) about global overheating and his call to technologists to do something about it. This put me in a dilemma: which existential risk to help mitigate? I decided to stay with AI for the main part, but try and shake other people about the overheating. So I was looking for a Wiki to collect mine and other people's questions and answers about that. Wagn (though more than a wiki) looks interesting. Mind that I don't know if this questions and answers thing will get anywhere. I'm not creating it for its own sake and I would close or stop adding to it as soon as I find that its purpose is already fulfilled by other pages or institutions.
