I often find myself command-clicking on an arbitrary link to open a new tab, then going to its search bar and typing somto find a card. I wish I could just type into the search bar in the first tab and command-click on the search result I want but that doesn't work. Never got around to ticketing that, and we still could do that, but an even more robust solution would be to simply add the menu to the search results that are actually cards.
One challenge here would be what to do with virtual cards that show up as search results. Not offering the menu would not solve the stated goal for those cards, but if we did offer it the menu would have to drop the many options that are not relevant for virtual cards. That's actually a more general problem, so maybe it makes sense to just ticket add a menu to virtual cards with options relevant to them. --John
virtual cards thing isn't really an issue -- they already have menus. but adding a menu on top of a menu sounds awfully messy. more plausible is that the current "card menu" would essentially be a submenu of the navbox menu. not super easy...
