If you type "images" into the Search bar you don't get an offer to go the "image" card.
looks to me like you do. on Wagn.org at least (although I'm not sure why it's the second choice).
in general, the fulltext search should handle this. The situation might be a bit rougher for wagns without it.

Bizarre. I still don't get the offer to go to Image if i type in images. I'm talking about the drop-down menu, not the actual search.

ahh. Hmm, that's because it's doing a pretty straightforward "completion" search, meaning it's looking for any card starting with those characters. If the actual card is a standard plural, it will find it from the singular, but not the other way around.
I think that's pretty standard auto-complete behavior. I just tried my google bar and got the same thing.
