The text editor won't work on an iPad. One of our most frequent complaints
Fix it! (not reqlly sure what the problem is yet)
Yes, we're going to be doing a significant javascript / editor overhaul before 2.0. this will be a major use case.
of course, donating an iPad to us would greatly facilitate testing :)

Thanks Ethan. iPad 1 already promised to my wife:-) - but maybe there's a deal there for hosting/consulting for someone. We are seeing uptake of iPads in the UK among nonprofit leaders, and I'll be thinking on use situations relating to Wagn

Turns out there are some simulator tools for developing for ipads / iphones, even if you don't have one. Definitely open to hosting/consulting deals, but good to know we won't be stuck without one.

I used the simulator for this on iphone and I believe this is working as of 1.10 (probably sooner, because of tinymce updates). please let me know if anyone is still having problems!

Not working for me in *some cases* ATM...(iPad 1, iOS 5xx)On my new cloudstore site I get an edit field and I can sometimes select text (often without a visible cursor), but can't type or paste anything, with BT keyboard or onscreen. Commenting here works fine though. I wonder if you could skip the fancy editor component in some cases (mobile) and just put in a text field that accepts markdown. That would work for me.

Correction: typing is OK, copy and paste are broken, and text selection can be funky, but usually works.

Hi Dameron,
Very much appreciate the feedback / ideas. With the 1.10 release we made an initial lunge towards better functionality on mobiles, but we have a good ways to go. I like the idea of having optional markup (regardless of device), and I'd guess that will probably be something we move on shortly after 2.0 if not earlier.

Just a thought....If there was a switch that turned off the fancy editor and just left a text box, that would work just fine too. If i'm typing markdown, it's most likely that I can turn it into html on my end. That might? be easier to put in for now?

I really like this idea. I'll look into what it would take and when we might be able to tackle it. In general, markup-to-html is easy, html-to-markup is the potentially tricky part, but since card data is stored as html, that will be key.
