This from the presentation on rubyforge:
Wagn -- Organic Knowledge Management
I like it, though "knowledge management" is more of a business term than a geek term. We're aiming at a pretty geeky audience on rubyforgy, right? What about:
"Wagn - Building a Database from a Wiki"
An elegant and innovative tool for managing structured data.
I like it less. This seems like an audience that wants fewer pitchwords (elegant/innovative), and I think people will assume it's a database management tool or something.
maybe: Start with a wiki. Add inclusions, formats, types, a query language... Voila, a structured database!
Wagn is an innovative tool for gathering and structuring
knowledge that is at once easy to use and very powerful.
It brings the wiki spirit to structured data-- making it
accessible, organic, and evolvable.
this I like very much as is.
