Seems to work:

But when you create the card, rendering it gets an error:

http://test.dwagn.org/wagn/foo+options_w_pointer.txt
http://test.dwagn.org/card/edit/bar+options_w_pointer
If you set http://test.dwagn.org/wagn/options_w_pointer+*right+*input to list, then autocomplete shows all of the options, whether or not they match what you've already entered.
Wishing for this to order http://grouppatternlanguage.org/wagn/permission_status+*right+*options more easily :-P --John
in current implementation, nonexistent cards should show up as options in most input types, but they won't autocomplete in the default "list" type (because that uses a search).
