I am not a number, I am a free man!
And I sure as hell aren't a dancing bear to tell stories on command.
My interest in WAGN is complex and I'll share it with people whom I think are genuinely interested. I will say that I am really not fucking impressed by this pathetic security scheme. By raising the costs, you're admitting that there is no worthwhile security once you're inside. That purging someone from the system is entirely too much effort, politically or economically. Granted, I knew you didn't have any security worth the name to begin with. But I am disappointed as hell that you *ADMIT TO IT* and *NEVER FIXED IT*. <shakes head> Yes, disappointed as hell. Security worth the name will definitely become a major ticket item. And I'm not talking about fascism or ACLs either since they're so broken they don't deserve the name security.
What's intriguing is this scripted delegation system. This story must definitely be going to a human in order to make a decision. And probably this human is chosen at random from a list from the active users on the site. Either that or it's hardlinked to the local fascist. So much potential for democracy just breaching the surface of the waters. Do I believe any of it's been realized? No. But I do live to be surprised, it happens so rarely. Democracy will be another major ticket item.
Well damn, I did end up telling my interest in WAGN. Fucking damn it! Alright, I've got more interest than even that, I'm stopping the story now.
Fair warning, I am totally going to take over WAGN. Why? Because it's almost visionary. That is, filled with people who are almost visionaries. They're ... pathbreakers, committed explorers. Above pathbreakers are creative geniuses (committed visionaries), above them are game changers. Above game changers ... there is me. I'm not going to change the game, I'm going to transmute the players, and they will change the game. Because creative genius is not an intrinsic ability, it's a teachable skill. And so are the rest.
