we want to be able to set up wagns so you can sign in with Open ID, twitter, facebook, google, etc.
there's already been a lot of work to move account info into cards so that information is all handled in cards (not in a separate users table, as is currently the case). Ideally we'd be using all that work for this, but there may be an interim solution possible with our current account setup.
