I had cards named Episode 2x01 - Omega and Episode 2x01 - Omega+Soundtrack. I had tried to rename it, but it didn't take. I ended up with a blank card named 2x01 - Omega, and a card with all the contents called Episode 2x01 - Omega, but apparently the +Soundtrack card got attached to the first one, so when I deleted the blank card in order to rename the card with contents, the Soundtrack card got deleted entirely.
Is there a recycle bin somewhere? I would prefer not having to redo work that I just had.
It should be recoverable. I'm not 100% sure of the names but it sounds like you want to create "2x01 - Omega+Soundtrack" and (it will be blank at first) then you can go through that card's history and get back the old content.
I'm not sure I understand what happened, but the basics are that nothing is ever completely deleted; things are just added to the trash. If I have a card named "Episode 2" and I delete it and then create a new card named Episode 2, then the prior revisions of the deleted card will show up in the history of the (re)created card.
Just because it sounded like things went funny, I would recommend that you clear your cache by going to /wagn/admin/clear_cache.
Well, I recreated the things I lost, but recovering from history did just help in another instance.
