How to move sidebar to the left?+discussion
The only difference is in CSS. You can fix them by editing the *css card.
By default it has only these:
#primary { width:67%; } #secondary { width:28%; }
But the built-in CSS also has these:
#primary { margin: 0 1%; float: left; } #secondary { margin: 0 1%; float: right; } #secondary .card-menu { display: none; float:none; /* necessary for IE */ }
Since it intuitively makes more sense to have the "main" card in the "primary" section, I would recommend that you:
- revert the layout back to what it was
- switch float:left and float:right in the *css card.
The different functionality is just because of the line in the CSS about "#secondary .card-menu", which is there because in most layouts the card menu is too scrunched to show on the sidebar.
note: we'll soon be moving all of this to skins. should make things a lot easier :)

how do I find the "built-in" CSS? what is the name of the card? it is not on *css

The built-in css is currently hard-coded. Because of the way CSS works, you can override all of the built-in settings in the *css card, but you can't edit the built-in stuff directly. As we move to skins, all of the CSS will be card accessible.
You can see the built-in css by going to http://wagn.wikirate.org/assets/application-all.css, but it's not very readable in this form.
If you're tweaking this kind of CSS, I would highly recommend using browser extensions. Chrome has good CSS support builtin. With firefox I have enjoyed using Firebug and Chris Pederick's "Web Developer".
