Part of what I like about Wagn is its flexibility.

 

I can have my documents all floating around and dirtily mixing it up with structured databases.

 

I would like to be able to manage a list of contacts, with such features as quick addition to the database, multiple forms for same, sorting / searching by various criteria, and automatic updates over time.

 

I have managed to set these things up with filemaker, but is it possible with Wagn?

We've hoped for a long time to get Wagn to a place to build a great CRM. This has not, however, been a major priority for most of the websites driving Wagn development, so there's not a ton of out-of-the-box work that's already been done. I think the short answer is that, yes, it would be possible, but it would take some Wagneering. If you are willing to invest time in learning CQL and structure, you could build a very powerful system.
