changing default layout leads to gray background+discussion

I ran into this on my website, too. You can see the gray background at http://johnabbe.wagn.org/Climate_Warm_up_Walks

By default, open (and any "framed" view) has a white background. Titled (and any non-framed view) inherits its background.

btw, cldstr-hosted wagns on the shared server (like thefarmschool) will be updated tomorrow night. This is pre 1.12. (You can tell bc the layout doesn't have syntax highlighting)

Thx, will try again after I guess. I get why you might want the *card* background to be white/inherit as you describe, but why is it affecting the background of the entire page?

oh, now I see. the layout editor appears to be broken, and it's using tinymce, which is screwing up the layout. will be fixed by upgrade.

re your wagn, the card *is* the page.

True for that one page (and thanks, that solves the hurdle I had on completing it), but not the screenshot above, and not for the rest of my Wagn, which I've also had go gray like that.

Do you think you have issues not explained by my TWO previous comments? Farm school is explained by 5th down. If rest of wagn went grey before 1.12, it's probably for the same reason.

Hoping that's it. Will let you know after the update.

I'm pretty confident. tinymce doesn't let through body tags, so the layout had no body, and the body is where the bg color was set.
