Definitely seen this before. Maybe the browser is sticking with the first favicon it got? (*favicon was only readable when signed in - I fixed this in case that's it) --John Abbe
Do we support .icon files? I think that is what was uploaded (use view=raw to see the uploaded URI)

It's showing up correctly now after restarting my browser (or something else that must have triggered it to redownload the file), so it's clearly not a file format issue.

I think this is a browser caching issue. It can take a while for browsers to update this. I don't know of anything that wagn can do to speed it up (though the fact that we're now using fingerprinted urls for favicons may help)
