When someone edits a Pointer, if there's an associated staroptions card, run its search and send the results to the browser (so the javascript doesn't have to do a call to the server to autocomplete).
On creation (in Wagn 0.12) i saw some pointers respect star-options only on the first item in the Pointer.
might not be desirable if we intend to make the autocomplete more sophisticated, with cooler highlighting say.
we're not committed to this, so changing to idea
