settings inconsistently applied
Support Ticket
Adding +*to from http://test.dwagn.org/wagn/Book+*type+email_config defaults to Phrase, but http://www.fortzedchallenge.com/wagn/test+*to defaults to Basic, even though http://www.fortzedchallenge.com/wagn/*to+*right+*default and http://test.dwagn.org/wagn/*to+*right+*default are both Phrase.
I think it's something weird about the Fort Zed Wagn. Another observation: if you go to http://www.fortzedchallenge.com/wagn/testing_invitation+*message and open up any of the settings, instead of seeing the help text, you see the inclusion markup to show the help text.
http://www.fortzedchallenge.com/wagn/Invitation+*message+*type_plus_right+*default exists, but is not reflected on http://www.fortzedchallenge.com/new/Invitation
(But note that the +*to+*edit_help is.)

re the setting not applying, the problem was that the set *to+*right did not exist there, despite the fact that *to+*right+*default did. As an optimization, wagn doesn't bother looking up settings when the set doesn't exist. so this is a case where A is still in the trash even though A+B isn't. It's easily fixed by adding and removing another setting to the set. (which I did).
As for the inclusion markup not working, there are two cases in which we "sterilize" the inclusions: template cards (+*default and +*config) and email config cards (+*message and +*subject).

ugh, the *type plus right thing is clearly still broken on new cards. will have a look.

*from+*right is also missing. I tried to create it, but it complains the type has to be Set, which does not appear in the menu.

*from+*right and *to+*right are missing on English as well, and similarly, I cannot add them.

"It's easily fixed by adding and removing another setting to the set". Adding, say, *to+*right+*autoname will pull *to+*right out of the trash. Then you just delete it.
