Sign-in as Admin OK. Links work as usual to go to pages.

  1. Attempts to search for anything = no auto complete and Enter results in Search cardtype rather than search on term entered.
  2. New card creation OK. But Submit button gets no result. Cancel OK. Therefore no new cards may be created and no content edited on any card.
  3. Same w Edit button or double clik in text. Ignored.
  4. > Arrow to open embed gets no result. means no access

Help?

I just went on and wasn't having any trouble.

It kind of sounds like javascript was off on whatever browser you were using.  Everything that you mentioned breaking relies on javascript. Many of those things would all also fail if we were having server issues, but in that case pretty much nothing would work, and you'd have a hard time loading the page in the first place.

The search behavior presumably means that the javascript is not doing its job of adding the search term to the form submission, so it's just sending /search/, which would indeed behave this way.

If the javascript is not off, perhaps something is breaking it on your wagn  (at least on certain pages or certain browsers -- not on the ones I was using).

If java were off I wouldn't have been able to create and edit this original ticket, including adding and editing the F00 embed. All WAGNs with which I am involved work fine as do all other sites (Facebook, etc.) using java apps. Culturesmith is the only one resisting. Totally bumfuzzled. Feeling pretty frustrated and REALLY needing access to my site. What could be breaking java on my wagn only?

Hey Brandon,

Yeah, it's super weird. And I hear you -- super frustrating. OK, let's bang on this until we figure it out. I'm getting on IRC and skype now, and I'll try looking at your site with various browsers.

It's weird that (a) it's just breaking on your site, and (b) (so far) just for you. What browser are you using? If I can make this happen for me it will be way easier to fix.

Thanks for all your help today. Glad we got the symptom fixed with the shift-control-R. Please let me know if there is any way I can help with finding the root cause and pulling it all unready from the cold ground to wither in the sun.
