This is both an idea for possible future feature set, but also a news FYI. Ward Cunningham has developed a simple, federated wiki called, The Smallest Federated Wiki.
For some interesting demonstrations of the concept in development and practice check out their videos page. A few that may be of particular interest to the Wagn community are the data-d3-binding, cross-page-refactoring, and columns-desktop-dragging.
Something we've definitely talked about, and the likely focus of Wagn 3.0 development. See DeckoSystems. --John Abbe
Thanks for the heads up, eidosabi. Gerry Gleason, a major Wagn code contributor, attends Ward's weekly calls and is staying abreast of the project, but there's a good chunk of work to be done in figuring out how and where the two projects should intersect.

Last I checked Ward's project wasn't as active, but perhaps I should check back again. Also, lately I'm playing with a branch that support SFW's favorite data format, Json. That should be around in 1.10 or 1.11. Xml support should be there as well.
