To avoid muddying up card histories, it's nice to have a preview option next to Save or Create buttons. Should be fairly straightforward except in the case of multi-edit. Thoughts? A particularly cool example out there is Jottit, which offers live preview!
Preview is even more important when doing something like submitting forms that the user doesn't have permissions to view -- in this case there is no way for the user to see what the posting is going to look like. I've found it a problem when submitting tickets.
+1 - I'd love to have a preview option!

+1 - A preview option also makes versioning more simple when we write content. What's the point of saving a version just to visualize the result? I like to save my writing each time it has reached a new level. So thumbs up for preview!!!
Ethan from elsewhere: "The challenge with previews is that rendering involves a bunch of cache lookups (especially of plus cards), and those cards aren't in the db or the cache yet. I think the solution is to make it so that we temporarily populate the local cache, but this will involve some design and is not yet ready to act upon."
changed to ticket. medium pri, but likely not until after 2.0.
