In Options/permissions, do not offer the role menu for "...can comment on this card" (maybe not worth doing with existing permissions system, but certainly with new one)
Regardless of comment permissions (which could be set before changing cardtype to Pointer), do not show the comment interface on Pointers.
I'm guessing we only want comments on Basic cards and simple custom cardtypes, no?
I'm changing this to an Idea, because it's not totally clear to me whether we actually want to build stuff to make it functionally impossible to show the comment box in the new commenting overhaul paradigm, especially since one of the alternatives ("own card") would still work with pointers (because the comment would be in its own card).
The other question is whether Wagn is smart enough to know (a) which alternative you're using and (b) in which cases a given alternative makes no sense. Maybe, but in some cases maybe it should be possible to create stupid things with wagneering as part of learning how things work....
